You don’t need to be an artist to participate in one of our
painting projects! This volunteer
painted pre-sketched canvas murals that would be hung throughout the school
while others painted line games in the gymnasium. No matter what talents and skills you may
have, Jersey Cares has a volunteer opportunity for you!

Jersey Cares has a wide variety of volunteer opportunities
every month! This group of volunteers
from Sanofi-Aventis travelled to an educational center for children and adults
with medically complicated developmental disabilities. They were able to work together to create a
dugout for an adaptive baseball field.
While the weather wasn’t the best, the day was brightened by smiles from
volunteers and children!

Employees from Southwest Airlines took time out of their
busy schedules to help paint, plant and assemble environmental kits for
children. Over 30 volunteers had a blast
helping revitalize one of the oldest public elementary schools in Newark. This project truly made a difference in the
lives of these children!
